Geraldine - Mathew Cyrus Buck

February 11, 1929 - March 15, 2018

Mathew (Matt) Buck, 89 years old, passed away at home with his wife, Cubby of 69 years by his side after a long battle of cancer. A Rosary service will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 with his funeral Mass 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 both at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Geraldine, Montana. His burial will follow the Mass at the Geraldine Cemetery and then everyone is invited back to the church for a time of fellowship and a luncheon. Memorial contributions in Mat's honor may be made to either the Geraldine Volunteer Fire Department or Monarch Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Jack (Ida) Buck and Katherine (Peter) Schlemmer, a brother Dexter Buck, son Patrick Buck, and his granddaughter Linsey Buck.

Matt is survived by his wife Marian (Cubby) Buck, children Peter (Diane) Buck, Glenda (Charles) Tonne, Leann (Bob) Bell, and Rodger (Lita) Buck along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

So sorry for your loss.

I will always remember Matt as being so full of life and colorful anecdotes! Our family spent many evenings enjoying spaghetti, stories, and snowmobiling with Matt, Cubby and the family. He will be missed, but we cherish the memories.
