Teleflora's Purest Love Bouquet

I loved him. He was cool and nice. I had fun with him in the pool. Love you, Uncle Matt!

Praying for God's comfort at this difficult time...hold on to the precious memories you have of him...I will always remember his wit,his laughter and his kindness

We offer our sincere sympathy to Kristin & the entire family. As "backyard neighbors" he will be missed, but know that our Lord has erased his pain. May you be comforted by God´s loving arms surrounding you.

Mat was one of my most memorable first graders. He was the first child on whom I thought might need to apply the Heimlich maneuver when a marble was lodged in his throat. He couldn't talk but finally managed a deep swallow that moved it. Both of us were in tears of scared relief and I kissed and hugged him to reassure him that it was okay. It took a few days and a trip to the doctor, but he really was okay. I think of Mat as vibrant and busy, generous and friendly as a young child, which...

My prayers are with you all. Michael and I were so sorry to hear of Mat's passing.

When Mat and I were very young (preschool/kindergarten-age), we were neighbors on Washington Street in Greenville. We reconnected via Facebook just before Mat started his cancer journey, and the first thing he said to me after accepting my friend request was "You were the first girl I ever kissed!" I'm chuckling even now at the memory. To Mat's family: rest in and rely on God's strength and that of your family. I pray you feel His, and their, love and comfort wrapped around you.

I remember Matt always being happy, friendly and kind. I will always remember taking Matt for a ride in my mom's 300zx 2 seater sports car in high school. Prayers for his family for continued strength to get through the days, months and years a head of them.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Mat when we were in school. He was always such a great person and kind to everyone. My prayers are with all of you. It is an unimaginable loss. The world is a little darker without him.
