I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Cherenfant because he taught me 3 years of Latin. I chose to take Latin because I heard how great of a teacher he was. I soon learned that he was more than a teacher, he was a role model. He always had a smile on his face and loved talking about his family. Mr. Cherenfant taught me Latin I and II at Hannan, and to say that he is the kindest man I’ve met is an understatement. Mr. Cherenfant deeply cared about his students and what he taught.
