Mathilda "Tillie" Janis

We will always remember Tillie at the Cleveland Indians baseball games when Bethel ran a concession stand to raise money for the Building Fund. What a worker; and always a smile. We and the members of Bethel will miss her.

I wish to express my deepest Sympathy to Tillie's family. She was a wonderful person and a loyal and dedicated Brecksville Life Member Pioneer officer and volunteer. She brought joy and happiness to kids as a Pioneer clown!

I'm so glad that Mary Lund and I were able to visit with Tillie the day she was taken to the hospital. She was in good spirits and told us lots of great stories -- like the one about being a contestant on "Beat the Clock" in New York years ago. She was a wonderful lady full of laughter and kindness. I'm sure she will be missed by many.
