Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Estay's passing. She was one-of-a-kind and was my 1st grade teacher at Hahnville. My mom Ruby Willis taught with her and they kept in touch until mom died. I was happy to see her at our class reunions. She truly loved her students and was a great influence on all of us.

When ever I thought of Mrs Estay over the years it was always fondly. I remember what a loving and compassionate person she was to all of us who were her students. We all felt loved and special. A life well lived!

Mrs. Estay was my 1st grade teacher. She was my dad's first grade teacher, also. My love of reading came from her. She will be missed by so many people she came in contact with.

Mrs Estay taught me in the first grade and what an teacher she was. I will always remember that being an identical twin, she could not tell me and my sister apart, and she taught us how to write each other's name first, she was so upset when she found out that had happened. She was an intrigal part of my life and I am blessed to have had her to set the foundation of education for me. No kindergartens back then, the foundation was begun in the 1st grade. She will be missed.

She taught me in the first grade and give me my first letters. I am grateful that she was my teacher. May she rest in peace

A great teacher and a caring person. I will always remember her as my favorite teacher.

Sorry for the loss of such a sweet lady! She was one of a kind! She will be missed!

Sorry for your loss. Mrs.Estay was my first grade teacher. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
