Matilda Cecile Garlinghouse McGibbon

I wish to offer my condolences to the family of Mrs. McGibbon. I am a first cousin to the grandmother of Dr. Jason Pierce (Mrs. Mildred Stewart of KY). Dr. Pierce is married to Mrs. McGibbon's granddaughter Emily Werlein. So although we never met, I feel that I know the family through the marriage of our kinfolk. My sister Marlene Dibrell was a dear friend of Kenda, and I was a very good friend of Kay, growing up. We married two local boys from Big Spring, David Dibrell and Billy Bob Satterwhite. Thus, we all knew each other in high school.I have very fond memories of being in the McGibbon home with the family, and with friends. I am grateful to have enjoyed that opportunity.
