Matt Canode

He was like a son to me. Was his little league coach when everyone said he couldn't catch left handed, but he proved them wrong. All the way though senior high school! He was the best. RIP Matt.

To the Canode family... My son Isaac played for NKY Eagles baseball team with Reese and Coach Matt. The Eagles truly was a family and we are sorry to hear of Matt's passing. I can still see and hear Matt coaching first base telling each batter "watch the corners" especially with 2 strikes.

I was Matts Supervisor from 1996 - 1999 at Certified Vacations ( Delta Vacations). I chose Matt to lead our West Region BDMs. I never had the opportunity to tell him how much I respected him. Perhaps his sons will read this. Matt, you were a great leader of the team. God bless you.Rest in peace my friend

Words cannot express how much I will miss you my friend. We spent countless hours together coaching our kids baseball and basketball teams. We had so much fun, and so many laughs together...I will never forget you. You and your family were a big part of my life, and you always made it a lot of fun. I always smile whenever I hear your name. At the end of the day, how people remember you is your legacy. I will never forget the many fun times we had together. I pray we will see each other...
