Not sure what to say?

I've thought of Matt over the years and how lucky I was to get to know him in law school. We both worked as research assistants in the library and had many classes together He had a generous, kind, and gentle spirit. I was so sad to see his past a few years ago and have visited this page every so often to remember him. To his dear friends and family - I'm so very sorry that you've had live with him here with you.

Last night I dreamt that Matt and I were hanging out together. I was leaving town the next morning and knew Matt would soon pass away and it would be the last time I would see him. We said goodnight and I left the room but soon had second thoughts and returned. I got to tell my friend how much I thought of him and that I loved him. Matt was such a gentle soul and I was so in awe of his intellect, and more, how humble he was about it. He was truly one of the people who made my college...

Hanawalt Family and Friends: My time with Matt was fleeting, at best, but his impact was great. After hiking, my two hounds came back to your abode full of burrs. Hundreds upon hundreds. I remember Matt trying to get scissors and then electric razors. One of the razors juice was running low, so he was searching high and low to find another electric razor. Perhaps this seems little, simple, or insignificant.... but it was not. It showed how kind, gentle and caring he was. With or...

All my love and sympathy to the Hanawalt Family. Matt was a truly great person. My one and only time playing D&D was with Mat over at Zeda's house. I remember Matt made me laugh until I cried. Plus, soccer at PHS wouldn't have been the same without him.

He'll be sorely missed.

I just found out about your loss. I am so sorry. Janeece would have been very sorry to hear also. My prayers are with you

Dearest LaDonna, Steve, Andy and Chris,
Words of sympathy, hope and encouragement are we can offer you at a time such as this. You all will be in my prayers. May you will feel the arms of the Lord lifting and comforting you as you wrestle with your loss.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Reflect on what is written in God’s word the bible with regards to the resurrection at John 5:28,29. I sincerely hope this thought will bring a measure of comfort and hope to you all.

Dear LaDonna, I know we did not know each other, but I saw your sons grow up in the church, and it always gave me joy to see the quality young men they have become. My children died in infancy, so my experiences were vicarious through families like yours, Anne Dilenschneider's and others. From time to time I did a few things with the youth groups, but not many.

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you all.

Sincerely,
Lois Hoover
