Obituary
Matt Jetton, 88, long considered the father of Carrollwood, died Friday after complications of surgery. Jetton's subdivision replaced acres upon acres of orange groves and pastures more than a half-century ago. He also served on the Hillsborough County Commission in the 1980s.
