Not sure what to say?

GRANDMA I MISS GRANDPA JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DID AND I DIDNT WANT HIM TO LEAVE ANY MORE THAN YOU DID AND I AM SO VERY SORRY!!!!!!!

I will like to send my deepest sympathy to the entire Martinez family. It has been nearly 20 years since I last saw the family but I must say it was the best summer of my life. From swimming for hours in the lake, experiencing my first fire ant attack (we don't have them in NY!!!), catching catfish with Uncle Matt! What a blast. Life was so simple then. I will also never forget Uncle Matt and Aunt Stella taking me to the restaurant and making me try the food....even though I lived on...

My family and I lived across the street from the Martinez family on South Second Street. Fond memories of Matt include the bobcat he had and how it livened the neighborhood. My heart and thoughts go out to Matt's family. Sincerely, Stella Gonzales Mata

We are so very sorry for the loss of Matt Jr. We have been loyal customers at El Rancho for over 50 years. I knew Matt Sr from his greetings at the restuarant every time we came. They were both very delightful to know. We feel your loss and our prayers go out to the family.

To Matt's family, I offer my deepest sympathy. I met Matt when he became a patient at the clinic where I worked, and I soon learned that he owned my favorite restaurant. We later found out we were both members of the same church, and he would always give me a warm hug when I saw him at mass at STA. I know how important Matt's family was to him and how dearly missed he will be. You all are in my prayers.

Love,
Carolyn Erwin

We are very sad to learn of Matt's passing. I had the honor of cooking with Matt one time and I will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

We loved him and his joy for life and living. He will be missed.

You will be greatly missed. Thank you for all of the great food and kindness. We met you thru your cousin Veronica/Ronnie, and have never forgotten you
