Not sure what to say?

Matt was great person to work with, very intelligent and knowledgeable.

May you find solace in knowing Matt is in heaven making a perfectly engineered space for family and friends. I first met Matt while we were both in Kosice, Slovakia; Matt in Engineering and me in Research. Matt and I stayed in touch during our careers at USS. Apart from his valuable contributions to engineering, he was also an accomplished guitarist and bass guitar player. Matt and I played at a Junior Diabetes Walk-a-Thon in Pittsburgh a few years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him...

So sorry to hear this, Nancy. You, Marissa, & Jonathan are in my thoughts and prayers. I taught Sunday School in Troy with Nancy and had Marissa & Jonathan in my class. Take care. Julie Goodwin

We just wanted to say we are in utter shock on hearing of Matt´s passing. Nancy, Marissa & Jonathan we cannot begin to know your pain. Just know you are in our thoughts & prayers. We know you are going to miss him terribly! God sometimes has plans different than our own that we cannot understand. Prayers coming you´re way for comfort in the coming days ahead for you all.

I am so very saddened to hear this. Praying for peace and comfort for Nancy and all of his family. May God hold you in his hands.

Matt was the consummate professional. He was passionate about his work and his technical knowledge truly astounding. Matt had high expectations of the people he engaged to help him with his projects. We (Hargrove) worked on projects with him at the plant in Houston as well as the Fairfield plant. We always found him to be fair, reasonable and a pleasure to work with. He will certainly be missed by his professional acquaintances and our prayers go out to his family that he obviously cared...

John and Vickie, i am so sorry for your loss. So many stories of Matt tell about such a wonderful person he was. I pray you will find comfort in knowing what wonderful contributions he made to this world. May God comfort you through these days.
