Not sure what to say?

Mark, Laura, Cally, Clint & Joey, when my family and I learned of Matt’s passing my family and I were deeply saddened. Words I think can only help so much but it is the memories that we hold in our hearts that will bring a smile to our faces when we recall memories of him. I had the privilege to coach Matt in hockey. He never made the biggest hit in a game but when he would score a goal the smile was huge. When asked to leave it all out on the ice he would and give 110% doing so. I can tell...

Dear Mark, Though we only know each other because of the warehouse you lease from my company, I am really sad for you and your family. My sister lost her son at age 27 back in 2000. I now know what it means to "kean" for the one you loved and lost. My very best thoughts for you and your lovely family. Take your time.....as long as it takes...to grieve such a loss.

I was saddened to hear the news about Matt. Your family has always been an inspiration to me and I grieve for your immense loss. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, today & always... (Neighbor 1994 - 2000)

Dear Laura, Mark, Cally, Clint & Joey and to ALL his family & friends. Saying goodbye is NEVER easy. Matt was such a precious gift, a great athelete & person. I remember his smile as a young boy that I would babysit. Him & Cally would run all over that house of yours and we would play "peak a boo". Matt was always happy--always had a smile to share & show people that he loved them. Know that during this difficult time that Matt is now smiling down on you. I wish there was some *magic...

While Matt was not my stepson, he was my son's step-brother, and I loved him just for being "Matt". Joey couldn't have had a better "little brother".

Matt, may you walk with God, and watch over all of us in His heavenly kingdom.

Thank you for being such a loyal friend and brother to Joey, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life as well.

May you rest in peace knowing you are loved by so many, and that you brought so much joy into the lives of those who...
