Matthew M. Antolak of Des Plaines for 19 years The funeral for Matthew M. Antolak, 82, will begin with a prayer service at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines, then proceed to St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin, Des Plaines, for a Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the funeral home. Mr. Antolak was a Marine veteran of World War II. For 25 years, he was with John Sexton Company of Chicago and Indianapolis, and was employed with Community Bakeries, Chicago for 20 years. Matthew was the husband of Mary A. (nee Coskey); father of Lawrence M. (Kathleen) Antolak, Dan J. (Michelle) Antolak, Jerome (Cheryl) Antolak, Michael Antolak and Joseph Antolak; grandfather of Jason, Ryan and Michael Antolak, Alyssa (Graig) Kocher, and Andrea and Brian Antolak; brother of Jane Lechowicz, Wanda (Wally) Wojdyla, Jo Wolinski and Violet (LeRoy) O'Neil; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
