I just found out about the passing of Matt when I saw his father's obituary. Matt was a great friend of mine when I was growing up. He was a gifted athlete and he greatly influenced and helped to improve my tennis game. We spent many afternoons and evenings playing tennis at Edgemoor Park which was situated between our homes.
