It's been years since I've seen Matt but the memories have come flooding back since I heard of his passing. When I think of Matt Ball I think of the guy that starts stripping down when there's the possibility of a fight because "nobody wants to fight a naked man". I think of a passionate hunter that even shed tears when he got his deer. I think of the fearless man that had his climber tree stand way too high in the trees while hunting. I think of the absolutely amazing father he was to Zoe...

I had the pleasure of working with Matt at Kindred Hospital. He was a fine young man. He had a ready smile that was appreciated by patients and staff. As a parent I can only imagine your pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
