Matthew Bannish, 63, passed away peacefully on Jan 6th 2021 with his loving family by his side, after losing his battle to Covid-19. Matt was often found hanging out with his brothers and was lovingly referred to by them as a “Social Brick”, until they introduced him to the world of golf, which...

Not sure what to say?

Matt was the best friend and funniest guy I ever knew. He always welcomed me into his family. We had a great time golfing, laughing and eating dinner afterwards together. He will be dearly missed.

The Bannish Family were the most wonderful neighbors. I have such great memories of living next door and the friendships with Matt, Thad and Aaron. Matt and Thad travelled to my wedding after we moved back to Nova Scotia. While it has been many years, the love for this family has not changed. My heartfelt condolences on Matt's passing. He was one of a kind. Thad, Aaron and to the whole family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Matt was one of the most wonderful people I've known. My heart is heavy, having heard of his passing. Much love to the family

So very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers to you all!

Dear Bannish Family,
Words cannot express how heart broken we are to hear about Matt. We still cannot believe this happened to him. He was the hardest working person and a real true friend we could ever have. We pray your hearts will be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Love and Prayers,

I had the good fortune to spend time with Matt ...and Aaron, thanks to Thaddeus- and enough golf outings together that I can say I looked forward to every next time out on the course with them.

We are shocked and saddened to get the news of Matt's...

So sorry for your loss. We got to know Matt as a loving husband at the nursing home. Much love Eric and Cathy Johnson

Just devastated to hear this news! Matthew was such a 'rock' for our Bannish family. So very sorry for the loss of your brother (and my nephew!). With sincerest sympathy, Marjorie Bannish, Melanie Bannish, and Greg and Newry Bannish.
