I just heard about Matt. He and I talked so much at our class reunion two years ago about our fun high school days. I am so sorry for your loss.

To the Beach Family- I was so shocked and sadden to hear about Matt's passing. I'm sorry I wasn't able to send my condolences in person as I was traveling out west, and I truly like to make an effort to say goodbye to my fellow classmates in person. I AM SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF MATT'S PASSING. WE HAD GREAT TIMES IN HIGH SCHOOL AND ESPECIALLY ON WHETSTONE'S WRESTLING TEAM. I AM SAD TO HAVE LOST SUCH A GOOD FRIEND AND TEAM MATE. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT FOR THE FAMILY.

My condolences to all who knew Matt especially his family. It's tough losing such a wonderful man so young. Matt was well liked by all.

I enjoyed being with Matt from the time we practiced wrestling moves together on Aunt Gertie's living room carpet 45 years ago during family get-togethers at Christmastime to the time Matt & Rio visited with us in Colorado in November 2014. I believe that Matt was in his element and identified with life in the Rocky Mountains. He loved our sunrises, sunsets, mountain views, low humidity, animal & fish life, and cool mountain air.
