We were terribly saddened to hear of Matt´s illness and passing. The last time that we saw him was when he and Erika were moving to New York. They stopped to see us (pups included) in Charlotte, NC. We did stay in touch. We ended up moving back to California and had a date to see him in August 2022, when he was here to see his mother. While we stayed in touch on and off, he never shared his illness with us and we don´t have Facebook, which seems to be the place for personal information. ...

I never met Matt's family, but when our paths crossed professionally years ago....we just became friends it was easy to like Matt....he will be missed
