Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Matt's passing! We hadn't chatted since the pandemic began, back in March 2020. To say that Matt had a major impact on my life would be an understatement. Whether setting me up with tickets to the 1978 Red Sox 1 game playoff vs the Yankees, pulling strings to get me in to Super Bowl 20 after my tickets fell through, Matt did it joyfully, asking nothing in return other than talking sports with him whenever we saw each other. To this day, I still speak glowingly about...

I just found out about Matt's passing and am so heartbroken and empty! We hadn't chatted since the pandemic began, back in March 2020, which I regret. To say that Matt had a major impact on my life would be an understatement. Whether setting me up with tickets to the 1978 Red Sox 1 game playoff vs the Yankees when I was a kid, to pulling strings to get me in to Super Bowl 20 after my tickets fell through, Matt did it joyfully, asking nothing in return other than talking sports with him...

Very sad to just hear if this news. Matt was a good man to many people including myself growing up

Matt will always be remembered by our family as a kind, loving and generous soul. I had known Matt and his parents all my life. We are all deeply saddened by his passing. The lives of all who knew him were blessed by his presence on earth. Peace be with you Matt. Love from the Nugent Family.

My fondest memories of Matty go back to the early 1980's when my brothers, Jim Brennan, Jack and Matty would rent a house in Wellfleet for a week.
My younger sister and I were always allowed to tag along and remember how welcomed Matty always made us feel. Matty had a great sense of humor, exceptionally kind and fun to be around. He often would be the one to coordinate dinner reservations for the gang and daily trips to White Crest beach. I remember one morning everyone left for...

If there was a guide book on being a human being of character, humor and goodwill, Matty's face could grace the cover. Bless you man, and enjoy the next stage of evolution in your spirit's journey. Hope we meet again on the other side.

I had the pleasure of having Matt in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Marlboro, I don't think there was a week that went by that my father and I didn't visit him to hang out. And every time he'd see me, Matt would announce my name like he was announcing a boxer coming to the ring. He would make me feel like I was one of the guys talking with him when I was just a kid. To this day, he is the guy I always gloat about to my friends by telling them I know someone that worked...

I have never met a man so courageous, friendly, and so sweet like Matt was. Visited him a couple of months ago and was amazed at his ability to entertain us with stories and laughter. R.I.P Matt ....we lost an awesome man and god gained a true angel....

I cared for matt in his last months of living. I've known Matt for years and he was like family. He did so much for me and my family. He loved me and my children & He showed it every day. I'm so thankful god led me to you matt. I will remind my babies of how much uncle matt loved them. I love you matt
