I´m just finding out about Matt, we haven´t talked in years but when I was 7 I had the pleasure of Matthew and his family come into my life and we had some fun. I am at a lost of words hearing this and heart broken. I wish I had gotten a chance to tell him how much he meant to me even though it´s been so long. Mrs. Sandy and Mr. Norman I´m so sorry and I wish I could hug y´all right now.

Oh matty.. two years I´ve known you and you became my absolute best friend from west Monroe louisiana. We talked every single day for those two years from the first time we met, up until a few days before you passed away. That was the hardest thing I´ve ever experienced having several people call me because they knew how much love as bestfriends we had for one another. You made me laugh constantly! You never failed to put a smile on my face or make me laugh until I cried. Seeing your face...

We at Voodoo are still in shock over the lose of a wonderful young man. Matthew hadn't been employed with us long, but from his first day walking into the restaurant to his last day walking out, he always kept a smile on his face. He was a joy to work with and the staff fell in love with him. Matthew will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace, we love you. Voodoo BBQ &Grill Baton Rouge Krewe Members.

Sandy and Norman, Phillip last week told us about Matt´s passing. I will always remember those fun times at Slidell ballpark so many years ago. Those were fun days. Just know that all of you are in our prayers now and in the future.

Norman and Sandy, we're so sad to hear of Matthew's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with y'all and the family.

Matt I am eternally grateful you and Ryan allowed Grayson, Hunter and I to enter your lives as family and reconnect. It has been such a pleasure watching you and your son on Facebook and we all looked forward to meeting again in person. Rest easy Matt, until we meet again.

I am deeply saddened tonight to hear of Matt's passing. I have so many great memories from childhood with Matt and Ryan. I wish you peace and courage in this time of trial and sorrow. My prayers are with you all tonight.
