And God said "Let there be Matthew", and there was an everlasting light!! Such wonderful memories with the Calhoun´s at the beach, the mountains, the lake and Disney World. Gonna miss Matt. Always a light in the darkness!

I have so many childhood memories of Matthew! From soccer to baseball to front row seats at the wrestling matches at the BJCC - we had a lot of fun! Can't wait to see him again in Heaven one day! God Bless.

Matt was a ray of sunshine every time I saw him. Matt always had a smile on his face and was always positive and uplifting. He was a very special person. The sun is even brighter now. He will be deeply missed.

I remember we had a heavy snow when he was in high school and he got stuck at our house. He and our kids had a blast. We haven´t seen him in a while but I know he will be missed. He was always fun to be around. I´m so sorry

The youth group our children were in at BBC was unmatched in my eyes- for that reason, as sad as it is to lose any of them, PTL we know exactly where they are... Very thankful for that!!!

To Matthew''s family, I was deeply saddened by the death of Matthew. I knew him from the Mountain Brook Schools. What a joy it was to be around him. Tremendous sense of humor. May he rest in peace.
