I'm grateful to have known and worked with Matthew on All My Children. He was Billy Clyde obsessed with his Dixie Bird, a nickname he came up with for my character. I found him to be a deeply thoughtful and kind man. I was always impressed with his dedication and professionalism but also his heart. I could see that it sometimes hurt his heart to have to be the bad guy to my endangered ingenue but we always found a way to have a laugh about it. I'm grateful that we were able to later cross...
