Still remember Matt. We spent our Freshman HS year 50-51 away from home in Barrytown Ny studying to become Christian Brothers. He left at the end of the year. I left later. There are still several of us alive who remember him well. Rest in Peace. Walter Henry Long Island NY

Only knew Matt for a yearwith the Christian Brothers in Barrytown NY- The Juniorate-HS .Those of us who went on never forgot him or his grin. Glad I was able to connect with him via email much later in life.Rest in peace

My condolences to the family. Matt lived with us during 9th grade in1950 at St. Joseph´s Normal Institute in Barrytown NY to prepare to be a DeLaSalle Christian Brother - a teacher. He fit right in and was a good friend to the rest of us. But after a year he decided to withdraw. I called him about 10/17 years ago. Old school gentleman, a scholar with a sense of humor. I always enjoyed time with Judge. he treated clerks with respect and kindness.

Condolences to Matt´s family. Fond memories of when we were neighbors on Dick Ave. Matt was always very friendly and asked about our children any time we saw him I later years. .

Elizabeth, Thomas, Kenneth and Family, Please accept our sincere condolences upon your father's passing. He was a remarkable neighbor and friend who always had a smile, wave and pleasant greeting to share. An engaging and humble gentleman who will be missed by all who knew him.
