I first met Matt as a freshman at Modesto High. He was quiet, and somehing about him urged me to befriend him. We were not the close kind of friends who hung out after classes, but we were close friends in the sense that when we talked in class, there never was a dull moment. I was just thinking about Matt this morning and how much I actually miss him when we parted ways for college. I want so badly to have been able to let him know that I missed him.
