It is 2023, and we just found out about Matt´s death. What a shock. We moved to Hudson back in 1993. Matt was the first person to come over and introduce himself. Matt, Mike and our son Eric palled around together. Andrea and our daughter, Kelly soon became friends as did Ellen and me. We only lived in Hudson two years before we were transferred again. Matt was a sweetheart and a love. We were shocked to hear of his passing and will pray for him and his family. Sorry Ellen that we lost...

So very sorry to hear of this. I pray that you are now in the presence of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, and that God will bring His Peace and Comfort to those who now mourn your loss. Until we meet in Heaven...

Matt was one of a few who always saw the good in people; he will be missed. Go in peace my friend.

I remember Matt well from high school and into my young adult life. He was such a happy soul! He made me laugh and knew how to cheer people up. Can’t believe he is gone so soon. I pray God surrounds his family during this time.

By virtue of alphabetic proximity, Matt had the locker next to mine and the seat in front of me in homeroom every year at Hudson High. Matt was able to make me laugh before 7:30 am most days (impressive as I was not a morning person) and I am grateful to have known him - will remember his smile and his ebullient, friendly and kind personality.
