I served at the Pentagon with Matthew while we were in the US ARMY our mutual friend was Bill Woods. We had a unique experience staying at his home in Brooklyn with his Grandfather and parents.

MATT AND PHYLLIS WE MISS YOU BOTH MORE AND MORE EACH DAY. IT WAS AN HONOR TO HAVE KNOWN YOU BOTH YOU ARE ALWAYS IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TILL WE MEET AGAIN DEAR FRIENDS KISS MY LINDA FOR ME.

Served with Matthew at the Pentagon. Visted his family home in 1969.

I lived across the street from Matt and Phyllis when they moved to Clay. I had not seen Matt since I moved from there in 1981, but remember him as being a fun-loving guy with a great sense of humor, who was just fun to be around. Some of the family may remember me. My sympathy goes out to each of you.

I met Mr. D while attending college at the Univ of Alabama. I was best friends with his daughter, Amy. One of the kindest, most generous men you'd ever meet. So incredibly loving, caring and generous. Always had a smile to give or a hug to lend. He will be missed greatly. Heaven received the best of the best today! We love you Mr. D.

Amy and Jay, We were so sadden to hear of Matt's passing and going on to Heaven ahead of us. He was always such a dear person and pleasure anytime I saw him. Our days go back to Ebsco and the last time I saw him, I pick up some books from his place of business. My thoughts and prayers go out to you today. My how he will be missed. It is amazing how you both lost your fathers to sudden heart attacks. May Jesus Christ be praised during the wake and service. I will be in touch. God bless you and...
