Not sure what to say?

Matt was my best friend in high school. We both moved to Salt Lake from Detroit and Ohio at the same time. We were outsiders who bonded. Matt was always a philosopher and very opinionated even at that age. We sharpened our debate skills and had a blast in the process. We drifted apart after high school and never spoke again. Today, I heard a song on the radio (Eric Clapton´s Little Wing) and thought about him and googled his name. Sorry to read of his passing. He was a good guy. Richard...

Merry Christmas Matty. You are in our hearts and soul. Love you always, Donna

16 years to the day, Matty. Will always be my best friend and love of my life. Donna

Miss you Matty, so hard to believe it will be 11 years since you died.

Miss you Matty. You're in my heart and thoughts always. Love you, Donna

miss you...

I am stunned and shocked by this most unsettling news. While I have not been in contact with Matt and Donna in some time, I regret that I will never again have the opportunity to engage in lively discussion, debate and rhetoric with Matt. I learned a lot while working for him, and will take these lessons with me through life.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Matt. He was so bright and so talented. I have never known anyone who was a better wordsmith and extemporaneous speaker. He was amazing and it was a wonderful experience working with him.

I was so sorry to hear about your loss. My thought and prayers are with you and your family! I remember when Matt got a hedgehog, he was so proud to be a hedgehog daddy. I never thought that you could have a hedgehog as a pet, sure enough Matt brought a picture in with him holding this hedgehog. (Too Cute!!!) Matt was amazing with an audience - he was one of the best speakers I have ever listen too. I was very lucky to have known him.
