Not sure what to say?

Mary Ellen
Matt was a good friend to me and I hope I was to him.
It seems like just yesterday, but here it is 15 years later. I know from personal experience that even though we may move on, the loss of a loved one never really goes away and that sometimes just one little thing will trigger a flood of memories and sometimes tears.
I think of Matt every now and then, when I look into my glass cabinets and see some piece of my collection that he found for me.
I can see and...

Dear MaryEllen:
It was with profound sorrow that I learned of Matt's untimely death. My heart felt sympathies go out to you and your family, but mere words can never be enough.
Matt was a good friend and a great glass mentor. Over the years we corresponded by phone quite a bit, and whenever we were doing Brimfield we saw each other. Many times he came to dinner at our motorhome. He loved my beef stew and Italian dishes.Sometimes he would take me to dinner at one of the nice restaurants...

MaryEllen, I don't know what to say. I was shocked to hear about his accident. He will be missed by many people. It will be strange not to see him at Brimfield or any of the glass shows. My prayers will be with you while you are mourning his loss. Ginny Griffith

Dear Mary Ellen & Evanne,
Though we have never met, Matt spoke of you both so often, we all felt we as if we did. I knew Matt from Quaker Acres in Brimfield and local auctions and I want to say how deeply sorry I am for your sudden and profound loss. He was a great guy, who truly loved his family. I was not suprised to learn he was an Eagle Scout. Those values were evident in his lifestyle. Our prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. May God grant you peace.

Dear Maryellen,

Could not believe it, when I heard about Matt. My daughter and I had good times visiting with him at Atlantic City and many other places. You might remember us as Bulldog Glass Co. My sympatahy to you and your family.
