I found out about Matt's passing a few months late. It was completely crushing because he was such an incredible person. He made a great impact on me, even though we only knew each other for a short time. I met him while working at Camp-of-the-Woods in the summer of 2015, and he was so, so kind! So kind that it alarmed me and almost made me question his motives---you don't often meet someone so good-natured and personable. After my college semester ended I came back to Young Adults and met Matt. It had been awhile and he was one of the first to talk to me. We talked about our love of theatre and he shared with me that he wanted to pursue theatre. He was a very great man who laughed a lot and had a big heart. I’ll miss him. My condolences to the family.
