Not sure what to say?

We are explorers now!

I am thinking about you, old Foxy. John and I traveled to Israel and Greece. We just got back yesterday.

You've always encouraged us to get out and see the world-it was YOU that inspired this trip. The experience was amazing and life changing. It expanded my worldview and experience--everything you said it would.

Just thought I'd let you know that your impact is still making ripples...

Just thinking about you.

And your silly grin.

And your sharp sense of humor.

And your big heart.

And your love for Amanda.

Miss you.

Words could never fully capture the essence of Matthew Fox.

Many fellow Chicagoans know him as a brilliant, gifted and generous man. And he was.

But, our dear Foxy was so much more than that. He was thoughtful, sensitive, quirky, kind, respectful and witty. Matt, feisty and stubborn, loved a challenge. In fact, any adversity only motivated him to grow into greatness. And oh how great Matt became…

Matt enjoyed traveling broad, reading of wars...

Dear Amanda-
Bob and I are so sorry for your loss. We had not heard about Matt's passing until today, and we regret that we missed the memorial. Matt's love for you was glowing always! Our deepest condolences to you.
May God bless Matt forever.
Hugs and love to you.

I am so sorry to hear about Matthew's
passing. He was a wonderful human being and he will be missed.

Dear Mandy,

I am saddened to hear of Matt's death. You and Matt were a great team and those who had the good luck of knowing you enjoyed your company. My parents, Pete and Marge Lippman, were always great fans of yours and had fond memories of being with you during your "New Hope" days. Although I know you mostly through Alison and Hal (who, you know, met because of your friendship with my parents), I feel as if I've known you both for many years. I send my sympathies. I know that is...

Dear Mandy,

Please know how sorry I was to hear of Matt's passing. I have always been thankful for our year together at Patillo House as it gave me a chance to know you better. I also remember I believe our 10th reunion at the college when you and Matt came to the celebration. It was so apparent what a wonderful relationship you both had. I am so thankful for all the years you had together. In the Spring my family and I spent a day and a half in Chicago sending our younger daughter...

Matt was a great friend and a mentor for many years. He taught me many things about the technical analysis of investing. He also gave advice about travel as he and Amanda did a significant amount and he shared his knowledge, which was very helpful.
