Not sure what to say?

Wow!...all I can say is WOW! He was some young man! Matthew Charles can be a role model for so many. I come from a family of military officers. I have lived in Richmond Hill for almost 3 years. I only recently read about Matthew. You/parents and family must be so proud! What a terrific man! God Bless!

Thank you for your service. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Remembrances of your sacrifice 4 years later.

Semper Fidelis

This entry is in memory & honor of Matthew Freeman, who lived a life well-lived.

To the family and friends of Capt. Matthew Freeman:
Please accept my remembrance of Matthew on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

Memorial Day is about so much more than long weekends, auto racing and cookouts...but if you are reading this, you already know that. Today, my head is filled with thoughts of Captain Freeman's family and fellow Marines. Whether you are in Richmond Hill or in Mississippi or in some remote corner of the world, if you are missing Matthew today, my prayers are with you. I will not forget.

I miss you Sir, I wish we could have you back.

To the family:
May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

To the family and friends of Capt. Matthew Freeman:
Remembering Matthew on the anniversary of his passing. May our fallen heroes never be forgotten!
