Matt lifeguarded with me back at the South Ranch neighborhood pool 5-6 summers ago. Our lifeguard team was truly a family and Matt was considered one of the little brothers of the group. He was our designated "class clown" and always made us laugh with every word and action he made. We truly didn't understand the silly things his mind came up with but it made long, hot days at the pool bearable.
