My sincere condolences to Scotts family. I first met Scott when he was hired by The Office of Financial Management and I was assigned as his mentor/supervisor. Scott proved to be a special person and a good friend. Over the years we would meet occasionally for coffee or lunch -- all special times. There is no doubt that he will leave an empty spot in many hearts.

Very sad. A great loss of a truly wonderful person. My heart goes out to his beautiful family.

I was so sorry to hear about Scott's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Scott in Olympia when I was early in my career. He was the real deal: kind, hardworking, smart and supportive. We bonded over Anderson Island, and he absolutely loved to talk about his home, and his growing family. He was so proud of everyone, and glowed when he spoke about everyone he loved.
