Not sure what to say?

Oh Louise, I am so so sorry to hear about Matt's passing. Please know I know exactly what you're going through. Eventually the emptiness & sadness you're feeling now will transform to the ability to talk & remember those moments. I know how it is at our age to lose the love of our lives. I'm sending heartfelt sympathy and prayers for you & your family.
In peace,
Lisa

"Miss Ellerbe!" - He would say!
"Mr. Gutt!" - I would say!
Our first year law student greeting remained the same, long after exams were completed, graduation from law school and the many, many years, which have flown by since August 1994. We would smile and laugh immediately ...he was just that guy! I will forever cherish our greeting and laughs from over the years! "Mr. Gutt," you will not be forgotten! My deepest sympathies.

Matt, your love and light will always be with us and in my heart. Louise, Chris & Olivia, my heart and all of my strength is with you as you move forward with Matt in spirit. He was truly a good person, funny and irreverent, but most of all full of love. I wish that I still had some of the mixed-tapes that he made for me way back when we were kids, so I could send some back to you all. Much love.

Louise, Chris & Olivia, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness. We were saddened to learn of Matt's passing and fondly recounted many memorable moments with you all during our time at St Margaret and the many social gatherings we enjoyed. May God welcome Matt with open arms into his kingdom.

Very saddened by Matt's loss. He was a respected colleague and advocate for our team's success. I have fond memories with Matt, his guidance and professionalism was always top notch and valuable. He always had a way to keep difficult situations grounded and was a pleasure to speak with on the phone and in the office. My deepest sympathies to Matt's family. He will not be forgotten.

Matt provided, and continues to provide a shining example of everything we should strive to be. I thank him for that and the truly noble and selfless kindness and joy he brought to everyone around him. Whenever I think of Matt I will smile and be grateful for the time he was here and sincerely wish it could have been much longer. God bless!

Matt, you will live forever in my heart, like all your family, and in Heaven too.

Louise, Chris & Olivia - we are so saddened to hear about Matt's passing. From our earliest days at Overbrook and on the soccer field with Chris and Noah, through our last conversation "over the fence" during our COVID walk this summer (with many train and facebook chats in between), he always shone through with his inherent goodness, good humor, optimism and wanting his community and world to aspire to be a better place. He will certainly be missed by those in Narberth who knew him. Mike...
