Not sure what to say?

My mom, brothers and I were all served by Matthew and will be forever grateful for his sweet demeanor, patience, and kindness, and with incredible care toward mom. He exuded the fruits of the Spirit! We are devastated he is gone. Our deepest sympathy goes to his family and staff. Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus, Doc!

Dr Hakes, we will miss you terribly. I was bringing my boys Marko and Pano to you, at American Family Chiropractic, for almost 10 years. You always greeted them with smile and a keen interest in their everyday lives. After they grew up, they enjoyed receiving sports and workout advice from you. You helped them keep their bodies healthy and strong. We will keep the fondest memories of you with us forever.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. As a friend at Cincinnati Syrian Shrine we will miss you RIP Doc (Matthew Hakes).

Although I only knew Matt for a short time he was one of those people that made you feel like a life long friend. My life is better for having gotten the chance know him and his family. He was a great help on my own journey to become a Mason and he will leave a void in the world. Rest well my brother.

Doc, it's hard to believe it's been so many years since we met. It was such an honor to serve with you on the church board at West Side. I think you for all the work you have done on my body over these many years and putting everything back straight. I will greatly miss the bourbon and taco nights and the wonderful chats. We will celebrate again in heaven when my work is done here. Love you brother. Rob
