On behalf of Matthew's family, I want to thank everyone who has signed the guest book and written so kindly of Matt. We are still much in grief over such a tragic and profound loss. But we are also comforted in knowing how much Matt was loved and by how many people he affected and inspired in his, all too brief, 27 years of life.

Our office was just getting to know Mathew, but we were immediately struck by his sincerity, kindness for others, and love of his family. He shared some of his medical history with us and his attitude was inspirational. I encouraged him to keep telling his story. A truly gifted young man.

To Matt's Family, I want you to know that Matt was indeed an angel here on earth. Matt and I started and trained together at Sciele/Shionogi in Feb of 2007. We studied together, ate every meal together and shared many wonderful times together during our two weeks of training in Atlanta. We personally never had the opportunity to get to to know Matt as well as all of you who were a big part of his life. We envy those of you because of it. We are sad and happy at the same time because we know Stephanie, Noah and Chloe are in good hands and have such loving famiily members surrounding her and the children.
