Not sure what to say?

Matt was the most encouraging and thoughtful friend I have ever known. He changed the trajectory of my life and will never be forgotten. I look forward to being reunited with him in Heaven.

I miss you Hess. You were a really good friend to Rachel and I when we needed someone to helps through the long distance relationship. I can't ever thank you enough, but I will every night that I pray. I am sorry that I didn't get to see you one more time before you left us. I know that you will be looking down at your family and friends from Heaven. We all miss you and God will always be by your side.
THank you "Hesser" for your loyal friendship.

Though I only met Matthew a few times I could tell in was a remarkable young man. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of need.

Having known Matt since we were young kids, I have many fond memories of baseball games, camping at Hoffmaster, and goofing around at lunch, but I will most remember the smile that was always on his face. He truly will be missed by all who had the privelege of calling him a friend. My prayers are with his family - know that Matt is in a much better place.

I have so many great memories of Matt when we were very young that will forever bring a smile and a chuckle. Godspeed, Matt.

We will always love and miss you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Bob and Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear about Matthew and sorry I missed you Bob at the funeral home Tuesday evening. You are going through a struggle now that I cannot imagine and my thoughts and prayers are with you. It has been a very difficult summer for you all.
