Goodbye old friend...we lost touch in the nineties, which makes this goodbye even sadder, but I will always treasure our fun & friendship through the eighties.
The world has lost a true gentleman.

The first time I met Matt was at the Ping Pong Palace for an Incredible Diamonds show and I loved him instantly. I think I still have the flyer for that show (which I will bring to the service). I'll miss his friendship, smile and great big bear hugs.

Besides telling me he loved me, the sweetest thing he ever said was that I made him laugh.
I loved you then and I love you now Matt Hogan.

He turned me on to so many styles of music and taught me how to play music along with Danny West when I was 19. I played my first show ever with him and Danny and the Lonesome Cowboys on a float in the Rancho Chico Days parade.
His band the Incredible Diamonds were one of my...

I have such fun memories of seeing the Incredible Diamonds. I thought it was so cool and fun to have such a great band here in Chico. Although I was unknown to Matt, I would see him around town and think.. woohooo he's the singer of the Incredible Diamonds... and you know how "famous" we make singers who are talented.. so I was always jazzed when I'd see him. I was so sad to read of his death, it seems so unbelievable, and lonely and sad. I am so sorry for his family, and sorry for all of us...
