My heart goes out to all Matt's family and friends. Matt was a great guy that touched all around him he made us smile and I'm so honored to have been part of his life.

Dear Beth, Mike and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. I pray for the family. My thoughts and prayers will be evergoing for Matthew and for his family. Once again, I am devastated of the news and my sympathies and love are with you at this time. Christopher and I have said a prayer daily since hearing.

Matt had to be one of the greatest people I have ever met. He always had a huge smile! He could make anyone laugh, even if he was having a bad day. I will miss him so much. Driving by his work will never be the same. I miss him. my thoughts and prays are with him and his family. What a great guy he was. I love you matt.

You were a leader and a friend to many people. I truelly enjoyed being your assistant manager at Shell Rapid Lube. We had many laughs together, and you stood by me when I needed a friend. I am glad to have known you. For memory sake I will always keep a box of mentoes candy in my center console the way you did. Matt's family you are in my prayers. Matt was truelly a blessing. Matt was a good, good man that meant a lot to me personally, and our entire company. I have witnessed just in the last two days many, many people coming to our Murrells Inlet location which was Matt's store, and calling us on the phone to offer their condolences. That in of itself shows how much Matt touched many people's lives.
