Carol and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Matt. My prayers are with you and your family to give you strength to get through this difficult time. May your memories comfort you.

To the Johnson family,
I want to tell you how much Matt and your family have been in my thoughts throughout the past week. My family and I were canoeing Sunday and had the pleasure of meeting Matt and enjoying the day with him. We were also with him at the trestle. I can never tell you how much I, and others, wish we had been able to do anything to prevent that horrific accident. I hope that if I can ease your pain by answering any questions you may have about that day, I would be honored...

Carol and family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.

Leanne,
I know how sad this is for you! I also know how close you and matt were, and that you wanted everyone to know "how great he was, he was always there for me and i want people to know he was good and not selfish. he was the best i could ask for." I'm so sorry for your lose!!!!!!
stay strong leanne!
love,
sydney grawe

A sweet and gentle soul was laid to rest today. One like we will never see again. We must not forget what he tought us, that it is ok to be good and kind in a world that often isn't. We love you Matt and your family. We will never get over it but with God's help, maybe accept it. Your proud Aunt Joy, Uncle Don and Cousin Jeff.

Carol- We are saddened to hear about Matt's passing. We have just got home from being out of town and had a phone message left by Dianna. Once again, we grieve the loss your family is going through.

I wanted to extend my sympathy to your family. I lost my son on June 4, 2008 in an automobile accident and there is no pain greater than the loss of your child. My prayers are with you.
