Not sure what to say?

Remembering my friend Matthew and his family today. He always brings a smile to me. Mark Connolly

I think of Matthew often. A kind and true friend, he knew what that meant and always put someone other than himself in in his thoughts and actions. I remember. I shall not forget . My best to his Boys and wife. Mark Connolly

I was very saddened to learn of Matt's passing. Not that I'd been in touch at all since we graduated Haverford School, but I remember Matt as a distinctly decent, kind, positive guy who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Rare at an all-boys shark tank in the '70s. I am not surprised to learn he led a meaningful, affirmative life. I am sure his death was dignified and attended to by many who loved him immeasurably. My sincere condolences to all of them.

I am sorry to hear about Matt's passing. I worked with Matt at VSR Financial and he was one of my favorite representatives to work with. He was a kind man. Always upbeat. He will be missed.
My sincerest sympathies.

Just found out of Matt's passing. We worked together for a few years at Willow Financial and really enjoyed each other. He was very proud of his family and I, as one who comes from a family of 6 brothers, understood his glee and love of his boys and wife. He gave me a chance when most would not. He was a true friend. I will not forget that smiling Irish face. We called each other each year on our birthdays, even though I always got his wrong.

My thoughts are with his family. A fine lad...

I am very sorry to hear of Matt's passing. I remember him fondly from our days together in Flanner Hall at Notre Dame. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Matt was a good friend of mine at Notre Dame - he and my friends from Breen-Phillips Hall had many many laughs with Matt and the other "Flanner guys". I last ran into Matt at an ND game and we had a great time catching up - you could tell how happy he was with his life and how proud of his family.

I'm still in shock at the loss of Matt - he was a great guy. My prayers go out to his wife and children and all of his family.
