Matthew R. Kelly

MATTHEW R. KELLY, age 27 of Bensalem passed away suddenly on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Temple University Hospital.

Born in Elkins Park, he was raised in Northeast Phila. and Bensalem. Matt attended Our Lady of Fatima Grade School and graduated from Bensalem Township High School in 2009. Matt worked at various Mc Donald's Restaurants in Bucks County, as a cook ( Culinary Expert ) at Longhorn Steakhouse in Bensalem, at Mealeys Furniture Warehouse and recently at Evoqua in Fallsington.

Matt loved all sports. He was an avid Phila. Flyers fan who played ice hockey for the Bucks County Generals and the Flyers Skate Zone , baseball with the Bensalem Ramblers, football with the Bucks County Bears, foot hockey with the Holmesburg Boys Club, lacrosse with Archbishop Ryan and soccer at Our Lady of Fatima. Matt was a junior Black Belt at Action Karate in Feasterville.

Devoted father of Hailey Marie and Maddison Grace Kelly; beloved son of Robert F. and Pamela J. Kelly ( nee Funk ); godson of Patricia Hillis and Paul Walush; loving brother of Melissa Kelly and Michelle Kelly; dearest companion of Heather Shaw; cousin of Kelly, Chrissy, Sandy ( Brian ), Kyle , Jimmy ( godson), Stevie ( Beth ) and their children Stevie and Lilly and Timmy ( Nichelle ) and their children Connor and Susanna; also survived by aunts , uncles and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 8:45am-10:15am at Our Lady of Fatima Church 2913 Street Rd. ( at Mechanicsville Rd. ) Bensalem, Pa. 19020 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30am.

Rite of Committal Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
