Matthew Knapp, 25, of Peru, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru.
Matthew was born on August 28, 1990 in Savanna, IL to Marty and Veronica (Kelchner) Knapp. He married Glenda Judy on December 23, 2013 in Ottawa. He worked at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Peru.
He is survived by his wife Glenda of Peru; his daughter, Rosemary Lynn Knapp of home; one brother, Marty Knapp of Savanna; two sisters, Amber and Ashley Knapp both of Casper, Wyoming; two grandmothers, Harriet Kelchner of Mendota and Frances Knapp of Mount Carroll, IL; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandfather, Raymond Knapp; and one uncle, Kelly Kelchner.
