Matthew Alexander Lackowski’s life ended suddenly on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Desert Palms, CA; age 37.  He was born a twin, with brother, Michael Daniel Lackowski, in Saginaw, MI, on January 11, 1978, the son of Clarence Victor Lackowski and Betty Jean (McMahon) Lackowski, and lived in Frankenmuth, MI. 


 


Matthew is survived by his parents and siblings Claude Michael Lackowski, Michelle Anne (Lackowski) Ittner-Ullman, Rhonda Marie Lackowski, Rene’ Lynn (Lackowski)Nassar, Clarence John "CJ” (Diane) Lackowski, Michael Daniel Lackowski and Nicholas Patrick Lackowski, Debra (Lape) Lackowski, many nieces and nephews, Robert Lackowski, Steven (Stephanie) Ittner, Sheila (Joshua) Koeppendoerfer; Shaun Ittner; Alfonso Amendola; Katherine Elizabeth, Jasmine, Fatima and Laila Nassar; Audrey and Nolan Lackowski; and Conner Duff. Great nephews and nieces Brendan and Melodie Ittner; Maddelyn Muehlfeld; and Jack and Lily Koeppendoerfer. Surviving aunts and uncles include Jeanette (Al) Lopez, Marshall (Mary Ann) Lackowski, Alec Lackowski, Thomas McMahon, Patricia Eicher (cousin/Eulagist), several cousins, special friends and acquaintances, and his dog, Dixie.



Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola St., Frankenmuth, MI, Fr. Thomas McNamara will officiate. Matthew’s family will receive visitors at church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
