Not sure what to say?

Dear Miss Langdon,
You probably do not remember me.
My name is Don Metkiff. I moved to Traverse City at the age of 19 to attend NW Michigan College. My major was music. At some point I met Matt. As I am now in my mid-40's I am struggling to remember where/when we actually met….I think in was in Music History class. At any rate, Matt and I became fast friends primarily because we were both drummers coupled with the fact that I “got” his sense of humor (he had this voracious/crazy laugh...

Dear Mrs. Langdon, I was shock and deeply saddened by the news of Matt's untimly passing. I worked with Matt for a year or so in 2007. Unfortunately I had lost touch with Matt ( My shortcoming, as I'm qute sure Matt being the extremely consiencous Renacaince Gentleman he was would have surely hand written me letters from time to time.) Matt and myself did on a few occasions did get together for conversation, etc. I was truly fond of your wonderfuful son as I'm certain you were as well and I...

My husband Paul and I met Matt in October of last year. Our son Mike was one of Matt's very close friends. We went to dinner with Matt and Mike.

Quickly we understood that Matt was a very caring young man. We enjoyed our evening with him and will always treasure this special memory.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Matt's mom and Matt's friends.

Dear Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss. Matt was always a good friend and a guy to look up to. One of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was in my brother's class from elementary school all the way through highschool and one his nicest friends. He will be missed.

Dear Sandy and Family,

I don't know where to begin. Matt was a great guy and I too have many good memories of him at Glenn Loomis and throughout high school. After we graduated it seemed that we were only able to say 'hi' every few years or so. One of my best memories was the day we drove to Lansing through a snow storm just to get a deal on a computer. It was plenty cold that day and Matt kept turning the heat either on "HI" or "OFF" - but hey, it was his car! (was that a diesel,...

Dear Sandy and Family,

So sorry to hear of Matt's passing. Way too young!

I have not been in touch with Matt since High School, but we were best friends in elementary. Many fond memories of the neighborhood and Glenn Loomis.

I did everything with Matt & Tim Hicks. We skateboarded, rode dirt bikes, climbed trees, played outdoor hockey at 14th street rink, and saved our money to buy new magic tricks at Hocus Pocus!

Tell brother Jeff, I can still...

Dear Sandy - I am so sad to hear about your loss of your dear son. Please know that all of us at yoga will hold you and your family in light and compassion. My families' thoughts and prayers will be directed to you and your family.
