We shared many memories together, but each traveled our own road in life. I will always cherish those memories and I wish there could have been more.

I remember Matt as one of the friendliest, sweetest, most supportive man ever and I know we are worse off without him and his infectious smile. God rest you, Matt. We miss you.

To the Leininger Family & friends, I knew Matt and he was one of the best soldiers we had in the battalion at Fort Bliss. I, along with others, was with him in Iraq back in 06-07 and he helped calm my fears. He always smiled and never had a bad word for anybody. I'm sorry for your loss and miss him because he used to encourage me, a staff sergeant. Take care and know that GOD will keep him until you meet again, SSG Valentine (Ft. Bliss, TX).
