I have not seen Mr. Lopes for many years, but do think of him often every time I read the track and field results in the paper. He was a unquestionably a man's, man and his love for his family was quite evident. I will never forget his may kindness to me. Mr. Lopes always brought a smile to my face and he touched the life's of numerous people in such a positive way.
