Not sure what to say?

I went to Eisenhower elementary school with Matt in Flint Mi. And as what happens you go to different schools make new friends and loss track of each other. I remember Matt exactly as everyone has commented and I also remember him always has a pencil and sketch pad in his grip as the other kids would play and run at recess not Matt, he would sit on the swing and just draw. God Bless

You were the only person that has or will understand me. I am having a really hard time letting you go. I love you friends. I love you mama Mary and sister Shelly. I love you so much matty. There's a piece...half of me, I can't get back.

Matty you were such an inspiration. I met you through Shelly. I loved every piece of artwork that I ever saw! You were always always smiling. This is how I will remember you. You will never be forgotten! My love & prayers go out to your family & friends. Love you bro!

Matty painted us the coolest creepy octopus mural for our bathroom a few years ago, He was a joy and an amazingly talented man. We are so saddened to hear of his passing, Wishing so much love for his family and friends, you are in our thoughts and hearts during this difficult time.

I knew Matty for a few years now, he was so much fun to be around! Could bring a smile on the worst of days just by being him! He will be missed by so many.

Matty is one of the most kind and beautiful people I've ever met. Matty, Drew wanted me to tell you "rise up lights". I hope you're laughing over that! We love you more than words can say. The world is less bright without you in it! Love to his family at this hard time.

Matty was my neighbor when I used to lived in the Paseo. I loved seeing his artwork outside his apartment on the wall and would often find new work upstairs in the laundry room. He was so kind and caring. I am so sorry for his loss. He will be missed.

I met matty in the middle of the night we met I pick him up and went IHOP.

My love to your family and friends Matty. Especially Sasha. I miss you more than words can express. Goodbye my friend. Until we meet again.
