Not sure what to say?

Matt's wife and family,

I never met Matt, but after seeing the memorial mounted at the intersection of Lincoln & Irving Park, I looked online to find more about him. I learned that, like myself and my wife, he was a graduate of Macalester. I am so sorry for your loss. He sounds like a wonderful man and my heart goes out to you all. Even online, I can tell that he was deeply loved.

Barbara, My heart goes out to you. I understand. Pat Blackmon

Dear Matt's Family,

Although I have never met Matt, we shared a few common passions: for life, for bike riding/racing and for Manito-wish. I pray that wonderful memories will help ease the pain of loss in some way.
Please know that the Manito-wish Community is thinking of you and praying for you.

Manger-Lynch's:
I am living in Sweden right now and the sad news about Matthew came to me very quickly from several mutual friends in Milwaukee. I am deeply saddened about Matthew's death, especially since I saw him just recently in Marquette, MI for the Ore to Shore bike race along with Micah and Bill. He was full of life and passion for biking. My thoughts are with all of you. With Sympathy, Lindsey Kriete

To the Manger-Lynch and Gleeson families -- We are thinking of you all and send you our deepest condolences. We're so grateful for all of our fond memories of him from USM and Manito-wish over the years, with his constant enthusiasm and joy in life.
Sincerely,
Marie (kohler-cabot) and Steve Fox

Dear Elizabeth and Gleeson family,
I am so sad to learn of this tragic news. Please know that my mom, dad and I are thinking of you and Matt's family during this very difficult time. I am so sorry,
