Missing you, Matt.

i loved Matt. always a pleasure to be around. and amazing to play music with. favorite memories: Black Kali Ma at the Fillmore, SXSW, Seattle Bottleneck, the Paradise, the Eagle... love and peace to all. J.T.

Matt was one of those truly decent, nice, funny people in the world that I really enjoyed talking to, being around...I was lucky to have known him at all.

This sad news seems impossible. Most of all I remember Matt's smile. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

The only consolation at this moment of shock is the memory of how happy he looked when we last saw him, on the arm of his true love and talking about how good life was, how much he enjoyed Michele and Gracie in his world.

ah darn darn. Just found out. So sad. I'll totally miss you, Matt Margolin. You were always, above everything--the talent and enthusiasm, the creativity and ridiculously quirky sense of humour--a kind kind man. (And I guess it's finally official, dude, our Spruce Goose will never again leave ground.)

Deeply,deeply saddened. A uniquely wise, smart, funny and talented person, and above all so kind of heart. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
